This shot does transmit a feeling of interminable supermarket queue. Nice that you shot it at waist level

Shu, even in a noisy supermarket that shutter sound was so loud that it made the couple in front of me jump :-)

Heh Olaf, you're not supposed to complain about not seeing the content of the basket. You're supposed to admire the repetitive pattern of the carts, reflected in the bags of chewing gum and the converging lines of the ceiling and floor leading to the goal. Well actually I was rather tired that evening at it was just a snapshot. I only needed some milk and had to wait in line behind all these carts.

Nice idea. You get a shot like this when you're trying to hide the camera! (I can picture you with 8 lbs of camera/lens and having to whip it out from your bag in order to catch the scene. LOL) Shu

...And therefore the low angle and that folded child-seat is bugging me - I want to see more of the groceries... --Olaf

Is that your cart? - or does it belong to the person in front of you? I ask because what you buy at the supermarket CAN be very revealing... Bored while standing in line, I often find myself looking at the contents of other people's shopping carts or baskets. From there, I go on and imagine their lifestyles etc... --Olaf
