I returned to the west coast (California) in the summer of 2003. I had been in NY for 10 years. I married while I was there and expected to be there for the duration. I missed my family and the Pacific Ocean. When my wife asked me to leave there was no other choice for me. It was back to the beach! My apartment is not comparable to the condo we had in NY, but its got great location.

This is a composite of 3 shots, the interior and exterior exposures this morning and the surf shot yesterday. The interior shots were taken with a 17-40 f4 L and the surf shot with a 300 f4 L IS + 1.4 TC. I've been selling surf shots to the local surfers so it gives me an excuse to spend a lot of time on the beach.
