Great pic and execution. The title doesn't work for me though? But the picture stands on it's own two feet without it.

I think you need to reshoot and have your model keep her eyes open. Just joking. I think she's been through enough. My only quibble would be what looks like (but is probably not) posterization on the right side of the picture. -- Victor

Another creepy image, right on topic. Great work, and much kudos to your girlfriend. I can only imagine what reaction I would get if I asked my wife to do something like this! Phil

Excellent image. Very very creepy. And your girlfriend deserves a very special night out or a bouquet of beautiful flowers for her amazing patience. Bravo. Ann C

Used one bathtub, one very patient girlfriend, 300 litres of water, one dark sheet, couple of leafs, tree 550ex, one softbox. Problem was that it was very unpleasent for my partner to lie in the water with the chin rather high. Lots of water entered her nose high up. And she had to lie still a while for the bubbles to dissolve before I could make a exposure. Total no of exposures around 10 before we had to stop. A technical problem first was to be able to se that she was underwater. The surface wasn't visible! I had to put the softbox right on top of her so it was reflected in the whole surface (seen through camera) and furthermore stear som water around so the surface didn't look like glass. /Jonas

I hope to someday be able to take a photo like this. Simply amazing!!

Brilliantly done. I like the slightly ambigious message too - how did she end up like this? murdered? suicide? Was the photograph taken from the point of view of the killer, or the morning husband?

Sorry Ill stop now :-)

The blue hues give the feeling of long gone here. And the lighting on the face is very eerie.

OH wow... This is creepy. Fantastic blue tones in this. The swirls of light in the water really give it that surreal look. An excellent dark photo.
