In spite of being a dog person I like this image. The focus on the eye is superb.

Love the way his little cheeks are puffy. That shows the cat is really interested in what he's looking at. Nice use of a same-color background, but it may be just a tiny bit too bright. You could overcome that feeling and bring the focus of attention back to the kitty through subtle use of the Highlight portion of the Shadow/Highlight tool in Photoshop, and possibly Dodging the face/eye of the cat. Nicely done portrait! -Noel

I like the sunny background here, matches his/her fur color. Good focus on the eye.

Cheers Shu. He's a somali, coming up to 2 years old. His colours really are fantastic, each hair having 5 separate bands of colour, and what a character too. This was on our outside table with the early evening sun setting in the back window. - Jono
