Love the way his little cheeks are puffy. That shows the cat is really interested in what he's looking at. Nice use of a same-color background, but it may be just a tiny bit too bright. You could overcome that feeling and bring the focus of attention back to the kitty through subtle use of the Highlight portion of the Shadow/Highlight tool in Photoshop, and possibly Dodging the face/eye of the cat. Nicely done portrait!
Cheers Shu. He's a somali, coming up to 2 years old. His colours really are fantastic, each hair having 5 separate bands of colour, and what a character too. This was on our outside table with the early evening sun setting in the back window. - Jono
