I disagree with Ian. The texture of the construction paper gives integrity to the actual photograph of what it is of, that being construction paper all rolled up. . If it were simply a flat color graphic it becomes simply an abstract and not a photograph anymore. I'd leave the texture.

I like the colours a lot! Well thought out and shot.
(*) As already mentioned, I think I too would try to add more DOF to it, and also use a strong setting on something like Paint Shop Pro's "Edge Preserving Smooth" filter. I think you could remove a lot of the paper texture that way while still preserving the hard edges between the colours.
Interesting! for some reason this makes me think of a detergent - probably there is one with some similar graphics on the packaging... Definitely graphic! The thumbnail is better than the full-size and I think it is because of the paper texture, which is more obvious in the full-size image. --Olaf
