Doris, I see the beauty in the translucency here! A couple of suggestions for improving this image, both have to do with the background: 1. It is too equal in tone to the flower and therefore there is not enough separation between flower and background, in spite of the excellent selective focus. One way to fix this could be to selectively darken the background a bit. 2. On the left edge there is a white object in the middle and on the right there is an out of focus flower. Those two elements are slightly distracting and could be removed, using the cloning tool. --Olaf
