Interior Blossom

Mendon, NY

I stunbled upon this vine in Mendon Ponds park in Monroe County NYS. The flowering vine was wrapped around itself with a blossom in the interior of the loop.

I agree that the background is less than perfect. But the Canon 28-135 IS USM only goes down to f/5.6 at 135mm. :(

I could have used my Photoshop skills to selectively blur the background, but I didn't have time.

I like this, but I think it would have been better with narrower DOF to cut off the distracting background. -- Victor
