Taken at a kite festival at the weekend.
There were about 300 kites threaded on the same line.

Played with the levels slightly. Should have darkened the sky a little without affecting the kites too much. Teapot.

I had a go at creating a mask of the kites so that I could darken the sky without affecting kites but just couldn't get the final image to look right. But I agree with the comments made. Teapot.

I really like it! This shot required two skilled people, the kite flier and the photographer. A little more contrast between the sky and kites would be good. - Larry

Roberta, do you mean bringing out more color and detail from the sky? The kites are pretty good and saturated. I think darkening and increasing the contrast in the sky would do the trick. I would experiment with adding a duplicate layer and setting the layer blending mode to multiply, probably using a black layer mask over the kites (leaving them unaffected). Depending on how that looks, I would maybe do some more tweaking, but it would be my starting point. --Olaf

Teapot, Engaging image and as Ed mentioned, it gives a feeling of infinity. Pretty cool having that many kites all strung together. You might want to play with the contrast/brightness to see if you can make the kites pop more. Roberta
