Beautiful shot, as is. I guess I don't agree that more space is needed in the crop. (FWIW, I don't go for the stuff in the margins, but it doesn't take away from my appreciation of the photo one bit.) -Ed Hahn

Great picture! If it's cropped, I consider giving the bird more room on the bottom and left sides, or clone some sky in the bottom at least if you can. The bird seems off placed, but it's still a really good shot... I can't seem to ever get flying birds (unless they're near the ground).
