Sea Rescue *

Sweden

A bit conventional perhaps, but I'm out of ideas.
This is from a demonstration of the Swedish military
how to rescue a person from the sea. At least I
learned that these helicopters have really slow rotors,
I thought 1/400s would give more sense of motion, but
not even pictures I took at slower speeds worked well.

EDIT: My camera's date/time was apparently not correct,
so the EXIF is also wrong. Sorry about that. The correct
date is 21-Aug-2004, I've changed it in the date field
but the EXIF is still wrong. Hope you'll accept the change.

I can't help thinking there should be a shark leaping out of the water (we've all seen that AVI yes?)... Phil

Anders,
I think you should send that Mark II over to me so I can fix the date. Now don't tempt Anna and I! Roberta

Anna, they haven't started delivering (at least not more than a few cameras). I lost patience and imported from the U.S. I'll just have to hope there are no problems that need warranty work. So far, so very good! :-)
I upped the saturation a little bit, thanks for the comment!

Hmm brand new camera, eh Anders? When did they start delivering in Sweden?
Well back to the picture, yes a faster shutter speed would have been nice, the Mk2 is awesome, I am jealous, bump up the saturation a bit.

Thanks Ed!
My time machine is out of whack apparently, otherwise the guy would not have fallen. :-)
I've now set the date/time in my new camera, I do believe I had done so allready but I must have done something wrong.
I increased the contrast a little, thanks for the suggestion!

Well, if you're going to take a shot 8 days in the future, could you at least have tried to prevent the guy falling in the water in the first place? ;-) (check shot date on your camera).

(*) Perhaps a little more contrast?
