I love the idea of this shot. I think that the plane is a little too underexposed, but with such a bright sky I don't know how you could have done better.

Yes, strangely a different crop on this might make it more pleasing to the eye, again, have an experiment. Being an action shot, it might benefit. the previous photo i would call more of a library style shot, this one an action shot. - Jono
Nice photo, nice presentation! I notice that the plane is pretty much smack in the middle of the frame and wonder if maybe a more off-centered composition would be more effective? It may be possible to crop off slightly on the right side while adding the same amount to the left side and then use the clone tool to end the smoke nicely in the lower left corner. --Olaf
