Very good picture, except I don't like the fake ball, it would be an amazing shot if the real ball was in the picture (in its current state it's unclear if there is a real ball somewhere under there). If you're going to insist on the effect though, make the trails meet at a point where the ball would have left the hand rather than the whole pitchers arm (areas where the ball would never have been).
