Me in my Mind's Eye*
Jeffrey W. Greeniaus

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Been meaning to reshoot something like this since I stumbled upon it playing with my macro when I first got it. Thought this challenge would be a good reason to retry it (its pretty tough to focus on your eye without using it). Obviously it's been edited a little. It's a duotone (blueish for no other reason than that my eyes are blue, it was turned into a jpeg by converting to RGB), I added a little film grain too. It helps cover up a little of the noise in the reflection in the eye. Any comments would be great.

The actual picture is just of my eye in a mirror hanging on the wall, so there are two reflections in one photo (which is obvious the moment you think about it since there are two cameras too).

I suppose I should also add, I don't always look that crazy, just had to hold my eyes open so the iris wouldn't be covered by eyelids... and my iris isn't round...tried to make a square box around it but it just didn't work. You probably didn't need to know that though.

Cheers,

Jeff
