Face Value *
by PhilM

For this, I had the idea and have carried it through so far... but i cant work out a way to get the stripe pattern across the face.
If anyone can offer help/tips I'd be really happy to receive them...

Perhaps the name below the face should have been changed as well.... -- Victor

A funny cool idea. I'm sure you can get arrested for defacing one of these. Best keep in line or I'll call the Police.... :p

I'd be surprised if there were not a plugin available that could do that. One idea I have is to do a lot of playing with finding edges tools combined with a topography tool. I just did a web search for photoshop plugin engraving and found a few hits that might be worth looking at:

It's possible, but sure will take a lot of effort and IMHO it's not worth it. For instance you could clone one strip and cut out the background and make several copies and shorten every other strip so that it fills the entire face and a perfcet semi cricle. I know by now you are thinking it's not worth the effort for this entry.
