Ok... this is the last revision I'll be making of my border. (the things we do to please...LOL) All of this controversy wouldn't have even existed if it were not for the comments of a fly on the wall. The original border is still on my website. This one is a compromise. It's a shame the border has become more of an issue than the photo itself. She definitely was a beautiful subject to capture... however more difficult to display. But at least people care enough about the photo to comment... thanks everybody!

Roberta's comment on the frame really surprises me!?! How can a black frame on a dark background around photo with a lot of white be pulling any eyes??? So I opened the image in Photoshop, added dark grey around the image (RGB = 55, 55, 55), selected the black frame and inverted back and forth between black and white. Hmm - maybe the frame is just too wide? I tried with a 10 pixels wide frame instead - better. Conclusion of what I think works well, from the image and outwards: 1 pixel black then 10 pixels white and then (optional) the rest (40 pixels) black. --Olaf

I like this image a lot but the black border is pulling my eyes away from her. Maybe a thin black line would be enough. Nice work!

Very nice, Byron. I like the contrast and the lines of the wrap... a great smile doesn't hurt either.

It's a very nice photograph, but it seems slightly back-focused. The face seems to be a little softer than the white "fabric" on her left shoulder (right in the picture). The closest eye needs to be the sharpest part of the picture. Maybe blurring the sharp part of the fabric and sharpening the eyes would work? Nothing wrong with a black frame, IMO. --Olaf

Is this border better? Or should I just have no border. - Byron

Bryon, I think your frame distracts from a great picture. theFly
