The shot is unusual (and creative.) Really gets your attention with the contrasting slats on the chair. Shu

You've spoilt it now. I thought this was your backyard. I was looking forward to my visit..... :p

Actually, the pool *is* empty. Adult Swim (15 minutes of every hour) pretty much cleans the place out. The KiDz consider it a form of intentional torture. Anyhow, its my only chance of coaxing my son out of the water. Pairing this with no dedicated shoot time, I take what I can get [*sMiLe*]. Victor, after reading your comment, I considered cloning out his index finger, just to heighten the effect. "You Daddio, this is what I think of your photo op." Then I thought: I'll likely see the real thing at some point in the future; maybe we'll just wait and enjoy uncorrupted youth for now...

One quibble: the pool is (or at least looks) empty.

Perhaps reshoot this when there are people in the pool?

Looks like he's giving a nonverbal comment to the photographer. -- Victor

Nice image but my eyes are fighting it. That dang white thing at the far end of the black stripe on the right - the line keeps sucking me right to that thing. Mabe if you burned it a bit so it wasn't so white. I'm really trying to look at the boy but I keep getting pulled away from him. :( ~ Lonnit

How odd... I *knew* this was yours just from the thumbnail... Why? Well, perhaps... see that sharpness? That clarity of colour? That's the *old* Joe we used to know... Phil
