I thought of calling this one
"Shot in the Park" in
Reference to Lonnits comments
in Dpreview, but then
decided to go more formal.

Overdosed post-processing in my opinion - killed an otherwise nice shot. --Olaf

That's a very keen eye Lonnit. I didn't notice the necklace until you pointed it out. The catch lights I knew about but couldn't do anything about it (other than photoshop). All I had was my 380EX external flash. Thanks for the comments and advice. -Paul

VEry nice shot, except 2 things that bug me - I wish the catchlights were not directly in the pupil like that; they're much nicer when off to the side on the iris. The second thing - watch out for props! Her necklace isn't lying right; it's stabbing her in the chest and not lying flat on the right side of her neck. It's truly amazing how much we have to think about when taking a shot. It's not just all the tech stuff about setting the camera, it's also being able to notice any slight little thing that might be slightly out of place. Sometimes we're so caught up in the moment we miss the little things that show up later. A lovely shot overall though. Very sweet. :) ~ Lonnit
