Shrewsbury, UK

No jiggery pokery here with post processing, not a sausage (just a crop and resize). In fact this has to be the first time I have come up with a plan and followed it through to completion and have it turn out exactly the way I planned. I have DPReview and this Challenge to thank for that, and thank it I do. Not a winner, but well on topic, and taught me a thing or too more about my kit. It also happens to be the first photo from my new 50mm f/1.8 mkII. Now then, can anyone guess how I did it? No prizes cos it wasn't too hard!

Thanks for all the positive comments, they make me feel good as I am especially proud of this one, mostly because it was planned, executed and has actually turned out the way I wanted it to! My colleague Christian does have to take some credit for the idea however. We had a bit of a mad five minutes in the office last Friday, and together we came up with the idea. The photo is all mine though :-)

Ha, none of you are right, it was Jelly. I know Ed said Jello, but us Brits like to call it Jelly. Imagine that, a glass full of Jam?! So, full marks to Ed, and no marks to me for being sarcastic. As a side note I won't be eating the Jelly, far too much red food colouring and associated E number unfortunately. Jono Kimber.

Neat concept. I'm guessing that you froze the liquid in the glass at an angle, then set it upright on the table.

really caught my eye , then I noticed the wine tilt. very nice. ok I lack total creativity so I will cast my vote with ed as the possibility of jello. I can see your reflection in the glass and the window which all seem normal so something other than wine must be the answer to what is tilted. congrats on a well thought out plan.
