Thanks ED, This was rescused by Photoshop CS, you might have noted it was front lighted by very strong sun, I had to expose for the sky so as to keep the clouds, the result is a very poor contrast on the subject.

I like the elements of this photo - especially the close drying rack in the upper right. The subject seems very un-contrasty, though...intentional? -Ed Hahn
