Self Portrait

My preference was for a more oblique shooting angle, but I found limit in the length of my left arm (too short) and the height of my tripod (too tall). Nonetheless, I enjoyed my first experience with Remote Capture. Kinda wish the transfer rate was higher, but I suspect I'll be using this tool with some frequency.

Jonathan: I think one could call this "dull" or "uninspiring" without missing the mark. I'm not, by inclination or skill, a studio/staged shooter. 20 years of IT and a mind pre-disposed to cleanliness, rationality, and order are helpful in some respects (e.g. business world) but not in others (e.g. art). I can generally *recognize* a good shot, but I am envious of others that can consistently envision/create them soup to nuts (e.g. Vikas, iso, Roberta). This shot, like several recently, stems from my attempts to leave comfort zone and defeat the shackles of structured thinking. So, beyond context, I think it's missing a few other things as well. Thanks for your comments. --Joe

Clarification: Tablet PC

Honest criticism: would work great on my tablet since a hand would be seen along with a monitor image of the hand. As it stands, its not clear what is happening without reference to the title.

Nice reference to MC Escher's "Drawing Hands". -Ed Hahn
