Thanks for your comments. The girls are "downunder" the house, so are waving at me from below. I was on the balcony.
As for the colour cast, the original is much closer to reality. The pic was taken in the summer when both of the girls had a very golden tan...and it was taken in the evening light which gives a golden hue anyway. So thanks for your attempt, but I like the real thing :-)

If they're really from downunder, greeting the rest of us, shouldn't the perspective be about opposite to that? Maybe that would be an entry in the foot challenge.
Regarding the color, here's my attempt at a color correction.
The colors are probably more accurate, but I'm not sure if they're better. Think of all the orange-colored rock that Gayle posts, for example, like Red Rock Row. The color cast helps to convince me that it really is downunder. -- Victor

Funny and well-suited title! Nice colorful composition, so typical of you Gayle! However - the colors are a bit too warm IMO. I tried "fixing" it in Photoshop to see what it would look like - but it didn't turn out well, as there is some clipping in the red channel, which becomes more apparent after adjusting the color balance. --Olaf
