Hi Lonnit,
Thanks for your very kind comments, I'm very flattered, but I really think calling me a genius is wild exageration *LOL*
About this picture: The scene you see is inside a big glass dome (called the "Rain Forest Experience", I think) at the local zoo. The plants are growing in the water, and as the water surface was very smooth, I found it interesting how clear the roof of the dome was reflected. I'm very glad about your comment because that's what I was trying to achieve with this shot, that you have to take a closer look to find out what's going on! Thanks again and best regards,
Arthur
At first I thought, "Hey, that's pretty cool.", but now that I'm really looking at it I'm totally confused! I wouldn't know this was a reflection if it weren't the theme of the challenge! LOL! I just can't seem to figure where it reflects! the plants on the bottom are right side up and the plants on the top are upside down, so somewhere is the line of reflection. The weirdest thing was that at first I thought we were outside this dome seeing it thru the plants, but no, we're really inside right? Please explain this!! Your other shot was disturbing, and great becuase of that, but it made me want to get away from it. This shot is brilliant as well! This time though, the freshness of the colors and the cleanliness of the plants and the glass are wondeful. It's so refreshing and alive and it makes me want to be there! Hey folks, we're looking at some serious talent here! We're seeing an artist's soul. This is truly a person that can communicate with a camera! A genius walks among us! ~ Lonnit
