Thank you all!

Grant,
As for the rotation: the plate was sitting on the arm of the couch, so it was a bit crooked instead of sitting flat. When I was preparing the shot later, I saw that it looked ilike it needed to be rotated a bit and I did so. However, the shot lost its charm! The angle of the plate added a nice bit of tension that I thought complimented the tension in the tilted apple. Straightening it ruined the shot! I was surprised what a difference it made. It made it into a "so what, it's just another apple" shot. I guess this was one of those times when breaking the rules was in order. :)

I can't take credit for the lighting, that was G-d's idea, and if anyone's going to beat Him on lighting, it certainly wouldn't be a novice like me! LOL! I just recognized and appreciated what He gave me. ;) I really liked the color combo as well. I originally took out the blue plate for some grapefruit shots but I ended up not liking the grapefruit as a subject. I was much happier with the apple and I kept the blue plate b/c I thought it was a very nice color combo. Thanks. :)

Vikas, thank you so much. That comment really means a lot to me. :)

This is definitely my favorite of the 3. The composition and angle are the best and that lighting on this one just can't be beat. Fantastic the way the apple is leaning into the light. Love the color combination. This is beautiful, Lonnit.

Beautiful blue and green colours compliment each other so wonderfully as does the brilliant one sided lighting. Lonnit, each new shot of yours is better than before, excellent.... Vikas
