I really like the bottom half but the top half, honestly, does nothing for me. I think I would have liked it much more if it had been shot with the lights coming out more from the upper right corner or third, than so low. Imagine this though, a Sumi that I thought actually had room for improvemnet! LOL! I never would have thought that possible - usually I just sit and drool and think about how I can smash my camera b/c I'll never get anything as good as a Sumi! LOL! ~ Lonnit

Olaf and Carlos, thank you for your comments. No flash was used. The traffic on the right was stopped when I began the exposure. They were illuminated by the headlights of the vehicles behind them. The long streaks resulted when traffic started moving again.

I would say that the fact that some streaks are longer than other is just relative to the speed of the vehicles... faster cars longer streaks :) Excellent shot, I like the way the highway arches, stretches and fades in the distance. Carlos Ch.

Very nice! Love the wide-angle perspective and the composition! Don't understand how you got some cars to be more than a blur? Could a flash reach that far? Looks like first curtain sync, but I just can't believe it... --Olaf.dk
