Hi Ed, thanks for your comment. The "paint flakes" are actually rust," one of the reasons I went monochromatic.

Nice composition - I notice there is a flake of paint on the railing - how would this look with that part in color? -Ed Hahn

The colors are mostly monochromatic, but I used channel mixer to convert to B&W. The left edge does seem a little tilter.

Very nice composition. Is is a little bit inclined (dunno if this is the right word?) at the upper left edge?
Was this image that monichromatic or did you reduce the saturation?

This is an interestingly balanced composition... the elements on the shot (the sets of 'steps' on each side, with the catwalk in the middle look very nice, and the strong difference of light above and below the catwalk give it a nice finishing touch. Cheers!
