Sweden

This is a small restaurant in a cellar in Stockholm's old town.
I took a break from photographing there today and had a cup of
coffee. I don't know what I thought of but the camera settings
are all wrong for this shot so the picture ended up unsharp.
I liked the place and the colors so I'll include the picture anyway
for the time being as I might be strapped for time next week.

Actually I entered this because I'm so pleased with the title. :-)

Thanks Bill! I must say I hadn't consciously noticed that eye contact myself but I did feel something felt very wrong when I tried cropping out the guy on the left. I realize now it was not because of the void under the candelabra, but rather that the couple on the right didn't have anything to look at.

For several days now i have been trying to understand why this shot is so appealing. I think i know for sure now.....the man on the left is appealing to me simply because he appears to have eye contact with the woman at the far right, and the man across from her appears to be scoping out what she is staring at....fantastic story....The tone, and texture of the image is supper moody and romantic....another story well shot.....

Came back to this again, and I noticed that the girl on the right has the candles growing out of her head :-)

Anna, I tried cropping as you suggested but feel that leaves a "hole" under the ceiling light instead. It's not really a great picture to start with, so...
