Arvin, I like this so much and it is even better now that the horizontals are indeed horizontal! But now I notice a slight tilt vertically. This is especially noticeable as the "column" of bricks on the right side is wider by the top window, than by the bottom one. --Olaf

Well, I'm a pushover for fire escapes and this one is dynamite! Your composition is excellent, capturing the interplay of iron and brick, wood and shadow. A stunning image!

Very nice interplay of shadow and brick and metal.

Thanks to all for your kind comments. The image now has been corrected for the mentioned tilt. Arvin Chaikin

I really like this, in all its complexity - very nice indeed! I thought that it looked a little tilted, but the vertical lines are vertical, so I got confused - until I noticed that the horizontal lines in the top windows are sloping down a bit. This could be fixed easily in photoshop, using Edit>Transform>Distort. Great shot! --Olaf.dk

Hey Babe, this is great. It's the best of any either of us took in NYC of the balconies. I love what you did in PS too. Ann

Arvin, your image is above the 150K size limit. Can you reload a smaller version if possible. Thanks, Teapot.

Arvin,
I really like this image. Love the bold shadows/patterns and repeating windows and fire escapes. Great work! Roberta
