Macro of an obsolete form of mechanical music recording, the vinyl record. This is a section of the transition between Maxwell's Silver Hammer" and "Oh! Darling" on the Beatle's Abbey Road album.
Complete with the nearly impossible-to-remove dust that made this this type of recording nearly unusable outside of a class 10,000 clean room :-)
Shot with 100mm macro, 68mm extension tubes and a reversed OM-series 50mm lens. Lighting was with a pair of Canon 550EX's (This black surface was ridiculously hard to focus.)
