Whew! Darn 10D captures so much detail that the transitional areas from the beam to the white plexiglass as well as details outside plexiglass makes selection of colors using magic wand difficult. Also, the rough cut of the lumber (support beam) doesn't help. Anyway..was able to try some hand painting as well as use of feathers, etc. This is the best it will get :)
Don't want to be difficult :-) but I liked the darker sky, more dramatic mood in that picture. The jaggies were a big problem though. Any chance of combining the two?

I swaped the image. This is the "as shot" without the gray clouds. Reason: Weird "jaggies was evident in the edges of the wood and glass frames" as pointed out by one observer. The original submition can be found athttp://www.pbase.com/image/26941997 for reference.
BTW, thanks for the comment Roberta ;) Now how this?
Andrew,
I like the desaturated sky against the warm tones of the wood. Great title and a very interesting image. I might bump up the contrast a slight bit. Roberta
