If you look really closely at that reflective material (you can see this in my original, full-resolution photo) there's a pattern within the pattern. It's a texture made up of tiny reflectors. It's quite facinating stuff.
Anna, I've been living in Laguna for around three years now it's a wonderful place. I wonder how much it's changed since the early 80s. I suspect it looks pretty much the same, except with different fashion.
I recognise those reflective bands, we use them on clothing here. And Laguna Beach was where we lived one summer during the 80's! An eye-catching image.
