LOL! Maybe you can ask if you can sunbathe on his lovely flat roof and while your up there put some suntan oil on it! LOL!
Thanks. I played around with a couple speeds and I liked this best. Thanks for noticing. :) ~ Lonnit

My next door neighbor has one of these that squeeks. What's a tactful way to get him to apply some oil? I really like this picture. I think the exposure is right on for the motion involved. -- Victor
Hey, that's part of my patterns! LOL! I thought that added some interest to the boredom of the regularity of the building. ~ Lonnit

This, I like. I would, however, crop a little at the bottom to lose the sunlit part of the roof/wall. Phil

Thanks Olaf. :) I shoot plenty of duds though. If I think that maybe something could this be a shot, I shoot and then decide when I see it on my computer. When you're shooting for the atypical, you get plenty of duds b/c if it were a shot, other people would probably be shooting it! LOL!
I shot this with a quicker shutter too, to stop the motion. I liked this better, but I was hoping it would be visible enough to people who weren't there in person.
I certainly did notice the complementary colors... once I got home! LOL! I kept coming back to this shot, wondering why I liked it. Then it dawned on me that it was probably the complimentary colors. :)

Leave it to Lonnit to see a shot like this! Lonnit, I envy your talent for finding photographic opportunities in just about anything! The smoothness of the fan blades reveals the motion - and still there is a fan blade pattern in there! Did you notice that the rust-orange fan and blue sky are close to being complementary in color? --Olaf
