The cat didn't agree with the referee's call, huh? In my view, the fact that it is a referee that is torn to pieces here, adds an extra level of "funny" to the shot. --Olaf

Good suggestion, tobias, thanks. I changed the midtone color cast away from yellow slightly. The tiles are actually dark blue and "biscuit"-colored in real life.

This exercise has motivated me to learn more about indoor lighting, because what I've got clearly doesn't do the trick...

good idea, nice image!
just a suggestion: I'd try to change the white point a little bit. It looks very yellow.

It is, indeed, an actual 17-pound cat. Fortunately, he's a pretty relaxed cat, although he did demand food after I finally let him out.
