Sweden

These two swans swam in opposite directions, and in my haste to
get the shot I just clipped the lower edge of the front swan's beak.
I still liked the shot so I tried to save it by cloning in the lower
part below the beak in Photoshop. I think it came out good.

Just to not take too much credit; as I say in the caption it was just the very edge of the lower beak that was clipped. I only restored a bit of black edge, along with the water and necks below that line.
To Olaf: glad I could inspire you, I surely am by your and other's work here!

Love the PS work, can't say that I haven't taken a few dozen shot's of swans myself, they are good when you can't find much else to shoot. This is a very pleasing shot. *a bit to sharp maybe?

OK, that's not fair for those of you who don't understand Swedish, so here's the translation:
Anders, you've inspired me to take photos of swans! [That's all I had written in Swedish]

I took some at Frederiksberg Have (a park in Copenhagen) yesterday. It was getting dark though, and I was there alone with my two-year old son, so had to move on, but got one that was really interesting. If I hadn't seen this wonderful photo, I probably wouldn't even had gotten my camera out. Thank you! I don't want to put my swan picture in this challenge, as I would feel like I am copying you. (Instead, I filled my last eligible slot with another image from yesterday's trip to the park: "Dormer at Dusk").

I like this photo a lot and am amazed at how well you've restored the lower beak. The colors are marvelous as is the light and composition! Great shot - and awesome restoration job in post-processing! --Olaf
