It always amazes me on how some of the simple objects have such a big impact when photographed well. Very nice

Ten is the right word - you know what I mean - when ranking on a scale from one to ten! Great shot! Nice and clear and showing the tactile qualities of the materials and shapes depicted. Love the refracted lettering that one sees through the bottle. The one and only thing I can find to improve this, and now I am really nit-picking, is in the reflected highlight on the top of the bottle. I can see a closet, refrigerator or something like that, or is it just the open end of your home made soft-box? I think I would clone that out. Other than that, absolutely top-notch! --Olaf

I like the contrast between the sharpness of the logo and the blur of the text on the ohter side of the bottle. The only thing I find odd is the slant of the bottle in relation to the right edge of the frame. It makes me feel that the bottle is leaning forward somehow. That said, I don't know that rotating it in the frame would make it better for me. It's just an observation. I like the photo a lot, btw. E-

Yes, I see what you mean. The letters are horizontal too so it's best to leave it. Excellent shot Ed! Roberta

Hi all - the bottle tapers from the top to the bottom, so the edge "ought" to tilt (and keep the label vertical as Phil says). -Ed Hahn

I have to say I liked this straight away.
To follow up Roberta's comment, I think if it's rotated, then it will look wrong, as the silver strip will be at too much of an angle. Phil

Ed,
Very nice! The placement of the red insignia is perfect. *Possibly rotate a bit CC so the right side of the bottle is vertical although it might look better with the perspective you have chosen. Just a thought :) Roberta
