Dirty Dishes

Kitchen Sink

Hmmmm...well I guess art can be found just anywhere, huh? I never expected to discover it in a sink full of dirty dishes! The best part is that I didn't touch a thing. It was just sitting there waiting for me. :)

Thinking like you is a big compliment! :) The thing on the upper left is a glass lying on its side. It has a grid-like pattern etched into it. I guess there are two differnt colored items lying below it, giving it its two seperate color sections. There were several layers of dishes! LOL! ~ Lonnit

I see we think alike, Lonnit lol. I did something like this but, mine were just dirty dishes piled up in a stack. Yours... has much more interesting color mix and, what is that on the left side of the image / cup? Looks like police car lights LOL Mark J

Thanks. I think a sink full of dirty dishes should be chaotic! If a person has a life clam enough that they have the time to load the dishwasher, then there wouldn't be such chaos in the sink! LOL! Thanks. ~ Lonnit

I does keep the eye bouncing around, but that is the beauty of it! Most pictures have some focus point and this one does not have that (actually is has several). It is that chaotic feeling that makes this one great.

Thanks for the comments. :) Karl, I think maybe the movement in the shot is throwing off your perspective. There are lot's of angles and I think it keeps the eye bouncing around. Maybe it's just making you dizzy! LOL! There certainly was a look of chaos and clutter in the sink at the time! :) ~ Lonnit

From the thumbnail this looks excellent, but up close there's something I don't get. It's either the perspective, (I keep wanting to be rotated one way, but then need the other way) or the grain and blur, particularly the shadows in the left mug. The colours are however lovely.

Lonnit, your dirty dishes are far more beautiful than mine! I usually hide mine in the dishwasher. Fabulous photo, very original.
