Shallow * by iso3200

I don't get to use this lens much, and I've had fun doing so.
This is at F1.8 for the shallow DOF. Lit by 250W tungsten at iso400

Nah, the studio space is at my business premises so no worries about Mrs iso! BTW, which Rob am I talking to here?

All I can say is a am very green to the space you have made, I'm just waiting for the interest rises so I can get a bigger house without a bigger mortgage. Fat chance I know.

Well done on making the space your own, I guess there was a certain resistance?

Rob - As I do mainly hi-key the default background is linoleum painted with white floor paint 3 metre by 2 metre wide floor area and 2 metre high back. My makeshift studio has been undergoing some transformations in the last week, hence no more entries so far. I've gone wider and higher now and cleared and organised the room so it's more suited to being a studio than a multi-functional room. My current estimate is that it'll be ready for use about 6 hours prior to the close of the challenge! I'm gonna have to work quickly to score points in this one :-)

She's a Bit Maggy Thatcher (in power terms) in this shot ;) Excellent DOF and good lighting. What are you using for the backgrounds in your shots? You seems to have a big space to work with.

Looks like she's sweet on you, iso (*sMiLe*). Love the perspective (as usual), the angle of the subject, the head-down/eyes-up look (I get that from the wife all the time), and the shallow DOF. Professional. And engaging. --Joe
