Portrait of a father * by Luther Foreman

This is a candid picture of my son helping coah a peewee basketball team. Taken from about 40 ft. away in dim lighting. My grandson is also in the picture (the only other person facing the camera)

Looks like you also did some cloning around the faces of two of the boys to get rid of a flash shadow. -- Victor

The image was quite noisy. It is a crop from a larger image. I applied some gaussian blur and then went over the noisiest places using the history brush in Photoshop. The eyes had serious redeye due to the distance from the lens, but the only thing I did to them was to select and desaturate. The last thing was to use USM and perhaps I did oversharpen to much for web display.

What did you do to this? They look like cardboard cutouts. Is this just oversharpened? Dad's eyes look a little wrong as well.
