Strong, almost masculine lighting, but subject has a great face that will take it! Very nice job, lots of impact.

I think normally this lighting would be way to harsh. But, in this capture, the expression is so intense that the light is absolutely perfect. :) ~ Lonnit

JLN: Very nice, very professional. I like the pose and the penetrating gaze of the subject. Directional lighting works very well here. Nicely done. --Joe

Thanks to all for thoses comments. Mark, I wanted light to be strong on the right side, and if you look with appro^riate tools in PS, you will see taht reds are a bit saturated in this area, but not greens and blue, so features are all visibles on prints JLN

You did a nice job here. The right angle, the right crop and, the right composition. I think the lighting on the right side of the face is effective but, maybe a tad too strong... washing out a bit of the face features? Howeve, I am NO portrait expert so, take my opinion with a "grain of salt" :-) Mark J

Beautiful dramatic light. Look at those catchlights! Must have been some big softboxes. A lovely, delicate, feminine portrait. Beautifully done. -- angela :)
