Thanks all for generous comments. Yes, I used a little Gaussian blur to isolate the troops a bit more. I gave it an extra dose around the helmets to get the light glow some folks noted. So, yes, it was intentional. :-) No, I have not tried to sell this. In honesty, I wouldn't know how to go about it or how much to ask. --Joe

I was taking note of the glow as well; I like it. Helps to pop them off the background. :) ~ Lonnit

Hi Joe,

What an excellent shot. I agree with Jim, if you didn't offer this for sale to the parents of the players I think you missed a chance to earn some extra "camera money". This is simply beautiful. The use of the blue cast is perfect. Question, it appears that you pushed the background further out of focus with some blurring, did that also cause the slight extra glow around the players heads? If not wat that a nature occurence or how did you get it to happen? I'm curious because I like how it highlights the players.

Whoa! Joe, this is awesome. I know it's not about money... but you must have been selling this to the parent's/coaches of this team... Very cool!
