Very simple but effective shot. I have the feeling that I am looking at some sort of Roman column when looking at the shot.

Nice abstract! Has that "seen by the photographer" feeling, conveying your vision. That extra shadow (the thinner, curved one) is essential! I wonder what it looked like in color and why you chose black and white? --Olaf
