Duck Soup

Whatcom Falls Park, Bellingham, WA

After eating bread from tourists, this duck kept swimming around the pond with his head just in the water. It appeared that he was drinking as he swam.

Ann – As I said on the other comment, this is my favorite. I like the composition the clarity, everything. I also loved the movie. Great capture too.

My secret is out... on this one I used curves to brighten up the colors. The basic colors were there but less intense. Ann

Beautiful image, Ann. Can you tell me, did the exposure value come out of camera exactly this way or, did you need to up the "levels" any? Nice capture. Mark J
