Thanks iso. It was a challenging photo in that the light was fading quickly and the wind was blowing enough to make the spider sway back and fourth. It was shot hand held btw. I did get a shot that was a bit sharper (not much) but I really liked the "pose" the spider did for me in this one. I had this one labeled "Spiderman" the day I shot it, way before the current challenge topic. It was a no brainer to enter. -Earl Waud
Offside comp is good, but I feel the photo needs more DOF. The spider overall is just not quite sharp enough IMHO. However, it has to be said it looks good for an iso1600 shot. I suspect the size reduction has helped some. Was this very noisy at full size?
