This is my attempt at homemade studio lighting. Took two spot light from a plant, placed clear white plastic tupperware in front of them and presto!

Klyphton: Terrific image. Works well in B&W. Well-composed. Lighting coming in from the side suggests someone getting ready to step on stage. Again, terrific! --Joe

Wonderful! I really like this. Your improvised lighting worked really well! And the hat and b&w make you look as though this photo was taken in the 1930s or 40s. Really a professional looking "studio" portrait! Lisafx
