Thanks, K. I think if they really wanted to be together, they'd work it out. I've seen turtles do some incredible stuff. It's a cool shot to imagine all sorts of stories about. Good for you. ~Lydia

Lydia, Sharon - thanks for the comment. I shot this in a Zoo. The enclosure for turtles was aside of major tracks. I think I was the only one who visited that far corner and saw these two turtles looking at each other. May be we anthropomorphize animals or may be that was an over-sensible photographer eye but I think I became a witness of a real tragedy - the two looked so unhappy, so sorrowfully gazing at each other ... being so close but “impregnable” separated ...
