Come, Michael. Bring a moose.

Excellent color, detail, and composition. Your macro work is quite masterful. I would like to be there when you put the moose in the light tent. -Michael

Mary Anne, I do have two extenders, but I don't remember if I used them on this. I assume I did because this is the entire image, as I recall. ~Lydia

Another good one, Lydia. Do you use extenders to get in so close, or is this a crop of a larger photo?

You should be glad, 'Fly'! :)

Nico, thank you too! I didn't mean to sound like I wasn't before. Your comment made me smile. ~Lydia

LOL @ Nico. I am quite predictable, aren't I?

Thanks to the rest of you!

Michael, will moose or bears fit in a light tent? 'Cause if not, I can't have them in my 'studio' (read little room off my bedroom). ~Lydia

Hi Lydia. I'm very flattered that my little comment from the southern hemisphere has spurred you into creative action. I'm not familiar with seasonal variations in the frog supply in your part of the world, but I had vaguely assumed you must have resident herds of them hopping around your house. Apparently not!
Anyway, a toad is a worthy variation on the amphibian theme and this is a very impressive photo. That 100mm macro is really working for you.
The leaves are a nice touch too.
Thanks for a bit of intercontinental fun.

You haven't thought of branching out into bears or moose have you.............?

Regards, Michael

He looks as if he is trying to ignore you, Lydia, but couldn't resist a sideways glance to see what you were up to. No wonder people thought they might catch warts from toads! Well done! ~Sharon

I wonder who posted this...? Photogenic toad? Nope, does not ring a bell. White backdrop? No, can say I have seen that before. Excellent photograph... perfect exposure... nice composition? Now who would be able to produce something like this? I really have to give it some more thought. :-) :-)

Compliments and regards Nico
