Alan, I applied the PBase recompress process to reduce the file size. You're welcome to upload your own reduced file if you wish. Regards, Michael

Alan, it has been pointed out that this image is over the 200K size limit. Can you reduce the file size please. Thanks, Michael

For what it's worth Alan, apart from depth of field, I think this would be enhanced by being shot during "the golden hour" just after sunrise or just before sunset. I know that's not always possible though. Regards, Michael

You're right. I really wanted the hay in the back to be completely out of focus. I actually had the apeture all the way open in one shot and all the way closed in another. The other one was too dark. I'll play around with it in Photoshop and see what I can come up with. I had to shoot this leaning over a locked gate. If I have to I'll go back. Maybe I'll hop over the fence. :)

This is one of the few images entered that has a lot of, rather than a little, depth of field. It's sharp in the foreground, but I wonder if a smaller aperture would have extended the depth of field all the way to the trees in the background. Nice shot though. Regards, Michael
