Double Dip by shu

9th place Eligible

I took a side shot of one of my own digital images
hanging on a wall because I noticed many lovely
reflections, especially yellow. I like the
painterly abstract that resulted. Hence the
name "Double Dip."

Thank you Oaf and DT! I must admit I was most intrigued by the amazing reflections on my hanging image and you can see just how much the original was changed by these reflections. Pointing the lens at an angle captured the yellow I had seen, changed many of the other colors in the original, and added other reflections from a nearby window as well. shu

Eric--It's a photo of my winning photo. I took a side shot of an 16X20 standout metallic print that I won on another site as POTM. The metallic nature of the image produced amazing reflections, especially yellow. I increased saturation slightly in order to retain the brush stroke effect. The end result is this, a colorful painterly abstract which is somewhat unique since it is a copy of another image and "Double Dip" tells all! LOL Thanks for asking. shu

I'm still trying to understand this.
This is a photograph of a photograph or is it a painting that you did ?

Regardless, very colourful, beautiful abstract and nice capture.
