The faltering dusk light creates a quiet hush over the lagoon as a sleeping Canada Goose stands watchful guard.

Canon EOS 50D
Used Neat Image to remove a bit of noise from ISO 3200
Shutter 1/25 F/5.7, spot metering, hand held @ 400mm
Sigma 120-400mm OS full exif

Great shot Rick. (I cannot resist the temptation to sneak up and push the quacker over... guess it is the child in me... lol )
I imagine one would want to swap feet regularly... if the stories I hear about the cold up that-a-way are true?

Lovely image Rick! The centered composition works well for the shot and I like the almost B&W look to the image - the tones are very nice. The goose certainly is "still" - I don't know how they can balance on one foot like that! :-) CJ
