It should have been and it was taken as such because you were completely right! ~ Lonnit

Thanks for replying, Lonnit. But it was not that seriously intended, I promise! :-) Kind regards Nico

Thank you, Sharon! That was quite a compliment. :)

Nico, yup, you are correct, and I haven't a clue what the heck I was thinking here with this crop! No, I certainly DON'T want all that foreground and cropping it out will properly bring my horizon line down to the lower line of thirds. Where the heck was my brain? You know I never crop like this! Thank you so much for pointing out my brain fog. I'm really stumped on this. How could I ever have done this? I always put every image onto the grid to check it the rule of thirds. I somehow mustn't have here, because I also would have notices the tilted horizon. I guarantee you this is the only image of mine that has ever missed the grid test! Kudos to you for catching my glaring error and being kind enough to wake me up!!! :) I'll have to fix it when I get a chance.

One of those that ring strong bells! If I recall correctly, the photograph was posted in an earlier challenge and then led to some discussion surrounding non-horizontal horizons, not so? But I won't go there again... this time around, let me rather ask you about the foreground: are you sure you needed that much of it to be in the image, or could another crop with less foreground also have worked? Beautiful photography, Lonnit. Kind regards Nico

You post processing is just wonderful, Lonnit. It really gives depth to your images and in this one the atmosphere is almost palpable. Good work! ~Sharon
